Q: What is a Certified Translation?
A: A Certified Translation is a translated document that is signed and dated by the Translator testifying his/her competence in the languages translated.
Q: Are you able to translate documents in any other languages?
A: Yes. We also work with translators that are proficient in the most common languages spoken around the world including Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. Assignments in languages other than English and Spanish must pend upon approval.
Q: What types of documents can you translate?
A: We specialize in all legal documents, however, we are capable of translating any content within business documents, newspapers, magazines, websites, brochures, sell sheets, business plans, etc. in most subject areas with the exception of uncommon Medical Terminology.
Q: What is your turn-around rate?
A: This depends on the size of the project, however, simple documents such as birth certificates are completed and returned to you within the following 2 business days or earlier. Exceptions can be made for time-sensitive documents, however, an additional fee may apply in such cases. Rush assignments must pend upon approval.
Q: Are your translations certified?
A: Yes. The proper translation certification is included at the end of each document or project.
Q: Are your translations notarized?
A: Yes, but only by request. This is not necessarily a legal requirement; however, certification is. An additional fee of $10 will be added for each notarized document.
Q: Must I send you original documents?
A: No. We will not accept original documents, only copies of the original.
Q: How much do you charge per page?
A: The typical cost for document translations is $30 per page. Unless there are multiple page requests, other specific requirements, or it is a sensitive case document, this can be the expected cost. We provide discounts to frequent clients and to large projects (10 pages or more). Contact us to discuss your project needs. We are always willing to negotiate the best price so that both parties are satisfied with the result.
